“中体西用”与我国教育民族性的构建    ——基于清末新教育形成过程的研究

摘    要:
教育民族性是构建本民族特色教育体系的根本原则。清末依据“中体西用”原则快速完成了体现教育民族性的教育体系的构建:制定体现民族精神和价值观的教育宗旨;形成彰显民族品性的德育规范;构建蕴含民族文化要求的教育内容体系;立足文化自保加大对师资队伍管理。“中体西用”下教育体系的不足在于:“中学”体量过大,冲淡了新教育的“新”味;相对“保守”的倾向削弱了其“开放性”要求;过于强调意识形态教育,冲淡了教育民族性建设的主题。

Construction of National Nature of Education under the Rule of Chinese Body and Western Use

Abstract:
National nature of education is formed in the long process of historical development of the nation, which acts as the most important rule of the national education system. Under the rule of Chinese body and western use,the modern education system with national nature had been quickly built in the late Qing dynasty. It set up the educational purpose with national spirit and values; developed moral education norm with national character; built up education content system with national culture demand. The shortages of education system under the rule of Chinese body and western use are as following: the proportion of Chinese learning was too high and weakened new education; the conservative tendency weakened the demand of openness; ideology has been laid particular emphasis that weakened the construction of national nature of education.
