| 文化与高等教育密切相关，高等教育负有重要的文化使
命。中国高等教育在中华文化形成与发展中始终发挥着重要的作
用。当代中国正处在文化大发展大繁荣的新时期，建设社会主
义文化强国、增强国家文化软实力已成为中国文化发展的主要目
标。当代中国高等教育的文化使命就是通过发挥培养人才、知识
创新、服务社会和文化交流等功能，积极推进中国特色社会主义
文化建设和发展目标的实现。 |

| Culture is closely relevant to higher education, which bears an important cultural mission.
Higher education in China has been played a critical role in the formation and development of Chinese
culture. China is currently in a new phase of cultural prosperity. Building a country with a strong
socialist culture and increasing the soft power of its national culture has become the primary goals for
the development of Chinese culture. The cultural mission of higher education in contemporary China is to
vigorously build and promote a socialist culture with Chinese characteristics through talent development,
knowledge innovation, social services, and cultural exchanges. |
