略论大学的理想、理念与理论

| 理想是大学从无到有的动力之源，大学理想指向未来，
是对大学未来的美好展望，是对大学臻于最完善境界的理性表
达。大学理想使大学人有了奋斗目标，给大学发展提供不竭的
动力。理念是大学心中值守的价值取向，大学的理念构建于严
密的思维，是清晰且方向明确的。大学理念从理想的超越性中
走向现实，是理想走向现实时的价值关涉，用以规范大学的教
育实践。理论是大学不懈追求的高深学问，缘起于西方的“自
由教育”传统，就是以理论养育大学人，并以她的杰出的理论
奉献给社会和人类。 |

| The idea is the power source of a university developed from scratch. The idea of
university points to the future. It is the good prospect of the future university and the rational expression
of ideal university. The idea of university spurs university people to be goal-oriented, and provides
an inexhaustible motive force for the development of university. The concept is the value orientation
university holds within its heart. The concept of university is built on rigorous thinking, and it is clear
and directional. The concept of university is towards being realistic from the ideal transcendence, it is
the value relationship when ideal turns into reality and is being used to regulate educational practice of
university. The theory of university is the relentless pursuit of profound knowledge, and it is originated
from the west tradition of liberal education. University cultivates university people with theory and
dedicates her outstanding theory to the society and human being. |
